Wednesday was the last official day of school! Things have been so busy with all the end of the year activities that we haven't done much school the past few weeks. Still, I wanted the day to feel special and so I told the children to be sure to wake up early. We went to the local donut shop for last day of school donuts.
The girls played with bubbles outside most of the morning. It was a welcome cool 65 degrees with overcast skies.
Mako had his last viola lesson. We decided to make a bouquet for his wonderful teacher. We ended up putting it together in the car which was memorable!
One of the aspects of summer I truly adore is the beautiful light at twilight. It is particularly beautiful in the girls room at sunset! It is challenging to get the children to bed as it is still light past 8:30. Rosamund and Clara were having a magial animal parade in their delicate summer nightgowns.
