Summer breakfast
This school year of viola study concluded with a spectacular Suzuki strings concert at the University. It was a whole new experience to see mako sitting with the lower strings instruments (cellos). He did an incredible job transitioning to the viola this year and more recently learning a large body of music for the concert. One of the pieces was only given to him on Tuesday and he played beautifully with the orchestra on Thursday! I could hear his viola throughout, beaming with pride I saw him perform with grace and precision. He has taken on the viola with a greater measure of interest and responsibility. We are so incredibly proud.
