On Thursday the girls collected some of our potato harvest. In the late winter Ma-kun buried some old potatoes. Miraculously they spread and grew into tasty potatoes. The girls were covered in dirt, but happy.
Thursday evening I volunteered with Clara's ballet class for their dress rehearsal. It was tiring! I stayed up late putting together the children's poetry and artwork for our own little newpaper based on the Pickwick Portfolio in Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
